Gary Neville claimed that Daniel Ek would have been thinking that trying to buy Arsenal would have probably ‘gone up another £100 million’ because of their North London derby win, as he told Sky Sports PL (26/09/21 at 6:05 pm)
On Sunday, the Spotify co-owner was seen sat alongside Arsenal legend, Thierry Henry, as they watched Mikel Arteta’s side blitz past their bitter rivals at the Emirates Stadium.

Whilst Arsenal fans are flying high after that win, one thing that probably won’t change is their relationship with the man at the top.
Stan Kroenke isn’t a well-liked figure and there are many Arsenal fans who would like to see him sell up.
Swedish billionaire Ek has tried to purchase the Premier League giants, but nothing has come of it.
A number of months ago, it was a hot topic with the Arsenal supporters, but since then it has died down, which is both a good and bad thing.
On one hand, Arsenal fans will want him to maintain interest in buying the club and hope everything quietening down isn’t a sign that he’s no longer interested.
But then again, such deals are done when people least expect it and given that he was in attendance on Sunday, alongside Henry, it says a lot.
Nonetheless, this is what Neville had to say when he spotted Ek sat next to one of Arsenal’s greatest ever players over the weekend.
“Daniel Ek is sat there thinking ‘it’s just gone up another £100 million quid’,” said Neville.
From a financial perspective, it seems as though Ek would have the money, and more, to buy Arsenal and help build the club back up again.
But the biggest problem is the man who holds the key to it all – Kroenke.
He has to be willing to sell, if he isn’t, then Arsenal fans will be stuck with the American for some while yet.
If that’s the case then it is a crying shame because Ek is an Arsenal fan and clearly has more passion than those running the club currently.
Things are currently rosy in Arsenal’s garden, but they aren’t far away from a crisis, as was proven during the first few games of this season.
