For players who have pre-ordered the FIFA 22 Ultimate Edition, there’s an exciting glitch that will get you access to the full version of the game today.

The Standard Edition of FIFA 22 will be released to UK and worldwide audiences on Friday, October 1, 2021, but due to the four-day early access that comes as one of the pre-order bonuses for the Ultimate Edition, people who have pre-ordered this can play the game from Monday, September 27, 2021.

And there’s more good news for players who pre-ordered the Ultimate Edition as they can access the game a day earlier on Sunday, September 26, 2021 with the New Zealand Glitch, a trick that was used by lots of players for the Ultimate and Champions Edition of FIFA 21 last year.

FIFA 22 EA Play 20-hour trial instructions for PS5 and Xbox Series S/X

FIFA 22 Web App release time ahead of EA Play early access trial launch

This glitch will involve changing the location of your console to a country with a different time zone (New Zealand), consequently unlocking the full version of FIFA 22 early by duping your console into thinking the date is already September 27, 2021.

Unfortunately, it’d bad news for Playstation or PC users, as this glitch only works on Xbox due to the ability to change time zones whenever you want.

Here are the full instructions to access FIFA 22 early using the New Zealand glitch on Xbox.

  • Set your Xbox console location to New Zealand in settings
  • Restart your Xbox console
  • Play FIFA 22

These instructions will allow you to play FIFA 22 on September 27, 2021, but make sure to change your Xbox console location back to your actual location before the full release of the game in your region, otherwise, you run the risk of being region locked when you search for matches.

And for players who like trading in the transfer market, this glitch does carry the risk of being banned from the transfer market altogether.

If you are looking to get your hands on any sort of early access to FIFA 22 but can’t do the glitch, then FIFA Ultimate Team players will still be able to access the FUT 22 Web App and the FUT 22 Companion App now, so players can start building their FIFA 22 Ultimate Team squads and buy packs before the full release date. There’s also the EA Play 10-hour trial, but that will cost you £3.99 per month (or £19.99 annually).

EA has confirmed that FIFA 22 will feature next-gen HyperMotion technology that brings football’s most realistic and immersive gameplay experience to life, in every match and across every mode on next-gen consoles and Stadia.

FIFA 22 is now available to pre-order now on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Stadia, and PC.
