A Double Gameweek is here for Manchester City, Everton, Burnley and Fulham, so which assets should you bring in ahead Gameweek 24?
Remember, the Gameweek 24 deadline is at 11:00am on Saturday, 13 February.
Super ‘keepers! Here are the GKS likely to bring in maximum points in GW24.
Star Signing – Nick Pope (£5.5m)
A pair of Gameweek 24 matches against Crystal Palace and Fulham raises the potential of the Burnley No 1 in FPL.
Pope is Burnley’s top-scoring player in the game, with his total of 102 points at least 33 more than any team-mate.
Bargain Buy – Alphonse Areola (£4.5m)
Fuham’s top performer in Fantasy this season is owned by just 3.4 per cent of FPL managers ahead of his Double Gameweek 24 against Everton and Burnley.
Areola has stepped up his output in Fantasy over the last few months – four of his five clean sheets this season have come from Gameweek 13 onwards, he has also earned seven bonus points and seven save points over that run.
These cheap defensive options could be profitable in Double Gameweek 24.
Star Signing – Ruben Dias (£6.1m)
Dias offers a rotation-free route into Manchester City’s strong defence for their Double Gameweek 24, as he has started every match for Pep Guardiola’s men since making his debut in Gameweek 4.
Man City had started the campaign poorly at the back, conceding seven goals in their first three Gameweeks and failing to keep a clean sheet, but they have conceded just eight goals in their subsequent 19 matches, producing 13 clean sheets in the process.
Bargain Buy – Matthew Lowton (£4.5m)
Lowton is owned by just two per cent of managers for Burnley’s Double Gameweek 24, and offers a secure route into the Clarets’ defence for their fixtures against Crystal Palace and Fulham.
He has started every match from Gameweek 6 onwards, earning six clean sheets in that run.
Midfield magicians! These two could produce big attacking returns in GW 24.
Star Signing – Bruno Fernandes (£11.5m)
Yet another goal in Gameweek 23 means Bruno Fernandes takes his tally to a staggering 13 goals and 11 assists so far this season.
Manchester United face West Brom next, who have conceded at least 2 goals in each of their past 8 Premier League fixtures.
Bargain Buy – Phil Foden (£6.1m)
City’s starboy managed to pick up 1 goal and 2 assists in their 4-1 victory at Liverpool, whilst he also received maximum bonus points, giving him 16 overall – his third double-digit haul of the season.
Pep Guardiola’s rotation is always the worry when bringing in City midfielders, but with a double gameweek coming up this could be the time to transfer in the young Englishman.
Goalscoring machines! Here are our top forward picks for Double Gameweek 24.
Star Signing – Jamie Vardy (£10.0m)
The Leicester City striker’s return to fitness could help Brendan Rodgers’ side take advantage of Liverpool’s poor defensive form.
The champions have managed just a single clean sheet in their last seven outings, meanwhile, Vardy has a prolific record against Liverpool.
Bargain Buy – Bobby De Cordova-Reid (£5.3m)
The Cottagers are among only four sides with a Double Gameweek 24, visiting Everton and Burnley in the next round of fixtures, followed by Sheffield United and Crystal Palace in the subsequent two Gameweeks.
De Cordova-Reid has had a major influence on Fulham’s attack this season, scoring five goals and providing an assist, and has been involved in 50 per cent of their goals, more than any team-mate.
