Chelsea are reportedly preparing to sell five of their homegrown players this summer to raise funds, with co-owners Todd Boehly and Behdad Eghbali keen to trim the squad in preparation for finance summer bids. The so-called standard bearers from their youth academy set for departure are Mason Mount, Conor Gallagher, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Trevor Chalobah and Callum Hudson-Odoi. Sources suggest Manchester United, Arsenal and Liverpool are all interested in the sale of Mount, who would likely generate the most funds. However, former Liverpool striker Stan Collymore has warned that at £85m, Mount is overpriced, and the midfielder is not worth that, especially with just one year left on his contract.
