Demands fulfilled
The long-awaited transfer of Borussia Dortmund star Jadon Sancho to Manchester United is almost complete. Bild reported the deal first and believe that an announcement could follow on Thursday. David Ornstein from The Athletic later confirmed the report by Bild.
The Red Devils will pay a base-fee of €85 million for the 21-year-old England international, which can grow to €95 million including easy to reach bonuses. Those demands have been often cited by those close to Borussia Dortmund over the last few weeks. Man United have initially offered significantly less but closed in on the Black and Yellows’ demands. Dortmund had hoped that Sancho could increase his market value at the Euros but was often overlooked by national team coach Gareth Southgate and has played just six minutes.

Sancho has had a personal agreement with United for over a year and will sign a five-year deal. He will become the second most expensive departure in BVB history behind Ousmane Dembélé, whose fee in 2017, including bonuses was €135 million. United has only paid more for Paul Pogba and Harry Maguire.
