As the video above shows, police say a 35-year-old woman was walking along Morgan Avenue in the East Williamsburg section at around 8:10 pm and noticed a man following her.
The man kept chasing her as she headed to Stag Street.
There, police say he rushed to her, stabbed her into the ground, and forced her under her clothes before escaping.
Police are asking people to watch a video in the hope that someone will recognize the man and make a phone call.
