The Premier League football live on Amazon Prime Video in November and December

Throughout the current 2021/22 season, 200 Premier League matches will be available to watch live on UK TV.

10% of those matches will be broadcast on Amazon Prime Video – the latest company to challenge the long-held monopoly of Sky Sports and, more recently, BT Sport.

As well as possessing the financial might to go big in the next round of bidding rights, Amazon were the first broadcaster to introduce the concept of ‘multi-choice viewing’, meaning several games are broadcast simultaneously.

With 140 matches now shown live per season, this may signal a sign of things to come.
