Intermediate update Superligaen
Transfermarkt has updated the market values of the Danish Superligaen after the first half of the season and reassessed 120 players. Once again, the focus is on top talent Andreas Schjelderup. The 17-year-old Norwegian has been a key player at FC Nordsjaelland since last season and is one of the biggest winners of the update.
In eleven matches this season, Schjelderup scored three and set up one goal. “He will probably be the next huge talent to make the step from Nordsjælland to one of the top European leagues. He is a regular and extremely mature for his 17 years,” TM data scout Kampione_Kennedy describes the youngster. The market value of the U21 international rises from €3 million to €5 million. Schjelderup thus moves into the top 5 of the most valuable talents up to 17 years.
From Shoretire to Moukoko – The most valuable U17 players
In addition to Schjelderup, Jonas Wind and Victor Kristiansen (€3 million) of FC Copenhagen and Jens Cajuste and Gustav Isaksen (€3 million) of FC Midtjylland also register a €2 million plus. Wind and Cajuste catch up with previous leader Evander with a market value of €7 million. The market value of the midfielder of the current league leaders rises by €1 million.
English-born youngster Jóhannesson on the up – Bisseck also upgraded
After a difficult year with Vitória Guimarães, Köln loanee Yann Aurel Bisseck immediately established himself as a regular in the centre of defence at Aarhus GF and played in all league games. His market value doubled to €700,000 – a career high. English-born Icelandic youngster Ísak Bergmann Jóhannesson of FC Copenhagen is also among the winners again. The 18-year-old son of former Leicester player Joey Gudjónsson has been linked with a move to the Premier League on several occasions.
Among the losers of the update is Bisseck’s teammate Mustapha Bundu. The 24-year-old, who left Aarhus GF for RSC Anderlecht for a record fee of €2.8 million in the summer of 2020, failed to make an impact in Belgium and at loan club FC Copenhagen last season. Even after returning to his former club, Bundu has not yet been able to match his old performances, with his market value dropping from €2 million to €1.5 million as a result.

Jacob Christensen of FC Nordsjaelland, former Brentford defender Henrik Dalsgaard of FC Midtjylland, Milan Makaric of Aalborg BK and Luka Djordjevic of Vejle BK also have to accept a minus of €500,000 each.
