أعلن الاتحاد الإنجليزى لكرة القدم رسميّا جدول مباريات الموسم الجديد للبطولة 2021 / 2022، حيث ينطلق الموسم الجديد فى 14 أغسطس المقبل، وتقام مباريات الجولة الأخيرة فى 22 من مايو 2022.
وسيتوقف الدورى الإنجليزى أسوة بالدوريات الأوروبية الأخرى أكثر من مرة على مدار الموسم لإفساح المجال لإقامة المباريات الدولية الرسمية والودية، وتم تحديد التواريخ التالية كمواعيد لهذه التوقفات: من الـ30 من أغسطس إلى الـ8 من سبتمبر، من الـ4 إلى الـ13 من أكتوبر، من الـ8 إلى الـ16 من نوفمبر، من الـ24 من يناير إلى الـ2 من فبراير، ومن الـ21 إلى الـ30 من مارس.
وستجمع الجولة الافتتاحية بين أرسنال وبينتفورد، ويصطدم توتنهام بمانشستر سيتى، حامل اللقب، فى مواجهة نارية، فيما يواجه ليفربول نظيره نوريتش سيتى، وتشيلسى أمام كريستال بالاس.
وأعلنت رابطة الدورى الإنجليزى لكرة القدم “بريميرليج”، عن جدول مباريات الدورى الإنجليزى الممتاز للموسم الجديد 2021-2022، والذى يحمل لقبه فريق مانشستر سيتي، علما بأنه قد تخضع مواعيد وتوقيتات إقامة المباريات للتغيير في وقت لاحق لأسباب تتعلق بالبث التليفزيوني.
ونجح فريقا نورويتش سيتي وواتفورد في العودة إلى الدوري الإنجليزي الممتاز، بعد هبوطهما من الدوري الممتاز في موسم 2019-2020 باحتلالهما المركزين الأول والثاني على الترتيب في التشامبيونشيب في الموسم المنتهى .
وللمرة الأولى منذ موسم 1946-1947 ينضم فريق برينتفورد للبريميرليج ، فيما هبطت فرق فولهام وويست بروميتش وشيفيلد يونايتد إلى التشامبيونشيب.
